At the heart of S H Raza’s art is the celebration of nature. He is master of abstract art, his works are an expressionist view of nature. He was disturbed and restless with his own work and wanted to find a new direction and deeper authenticity in his work. This led to the iconic “Bindu” which signified his rebirth as apainter . Bindu according to him, signified the rise of the momentousness of spirituality. Variously interpreted as shunya or the void of nothingness in his works, also served as a symbol of the seed which encapsulates the prospective to give birth to all life and is the focal point of both energy and creativity. The Bindu is related to the Indian philosophy of being the point of all creation. The reason this interested raza so much is because he was looking for new inspiration for his art and this created a new point of creation for himself.
